The Steve Miller Band 邂逅

今時、スティーブミラーバンドがどうこうって、こともないんだろうけど、

ツベをあさっていたら、The Steve Miller Band　に出くわしたっていうか、邂逅した。

最近、帰宅電車中で聴いている。

高校生時代かな、よく聴いていた。

何しろ、かっこいい曲だったな

中高時代にはＴ．Ｒｅｘ、Ｄボウイ、Ｄパープル、ＱＵＥＥＮ、Ｐフロイド、ジェネシス、、、、グランドファンク、バッドカンパニー、、、、、雑食的に聴いていたが、

The Steve Miller Band　すっかり忘れていた。

改めて聴いてみると、やっぱりかっこいいね。

ガラケーの時代、音楽を持ち歩くようなことはなかったし、仕事や人生に忙しかったし、

ネットは遅かったし、３Ｇになっても電車のなかでyoutube　はよくフリーズしてたし、

それが４Ｇでスマホも進化するとね、動画はスムーズだし、検索も早いし、帰宅電車の暇つぶしにツベあさりをすることも多くなった。

枕元にはipadもあるしね、

ほんと、ここ2年くらいかな、音楽を聴くようになったなあ。

そこはやはりロックでね。

The Steve Miller Band is an American rock band formed in 1966 in San Francisco, California.

The band is led by Steve Miller on guitar and lead vocals. It is best known today for a string of (mainly) mid-1970s hit singles that are staples of classic rock radio, as well as several earlier acid rock albums. Miller left his first band to move to San Francisco and form the Steve Miller Blues Band. 

Shortly after Harvey Kornspan negotiated the band’s landmark contract with Capitol/EMI Records in 1967, the band shortened its name to the Steve Miller Band. In February 1968, the band recorded its debut album, Children of the Future. It went on to produce the albums Sailor, Brave New World, Your Saving Grace, Number 5, Rock Love and more. 

The band's Greatest Hits 1974–78, released in 1978, sold over 13 million copies. The band continued to produce more albums and in 2014 toured with the rock band Journey. In 2016, Steve Miller was inducted as a solo artist in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

スティーブ・ミラー、かっこいいな。

我が同世代も頑張ってはいるが、

団塊の世代の頑張りたるや、頭が下がる。

戦後のベビーブームの中で、過剰な世代人口の中で、荒れて、爆発して、バブルも作ったし、文化的にもいろいろとやったよね。で、まだみな、健在。恐れ入る。

こんばんは。こちらでは初めましてのkazzです。

Steve Miller Bandはつい最近CDが大挙再発になりましたね。
きっと多少は音質もよくなっているのかな。
かのダンディ、BOZ SCAGGSと一緒に演っていた時期があるんですもんね。でもスティーブは全然変わらず己の音楽に邁進した。

Fly Like An Eagle、この曲はサイコーです。
思わずうれしくなって書き込んじゃいました。

ヒマにかまけてツベあさりなオッサンをやってます。
で、すっかり忘れていた（あんなに好きだったのに！）スティーブミラーに出くわしまして、、、、。
まだ、声も変わらんし、ほんと、７０代、凄いですわ。
５０代で疲れたとかいってられませんな。
